"Mrs. Sterrett, rhymes with carrot" is how I introduce myself to Kindergarteners AND their parents.  Makes it easier for everyone!!
I am in my third year teaching Kindergarten and we are going full day next year!  That combined with the Common Core - what a year of meetings, meetings, meeting!!  Luckily my district rocks at supporting us as we make all of the changes.
